PluriDigit: Plurilingual, Decolonial and Digital Pedagogy

The PluriDigit project is a SSHRC-funded initiative with two primary objectives: first, to provide language teachers with effective plurilingual and decolonial pedagogy, along with digital tools to enhance students’ speaking skills; second, to evaluate the impact of PluriDigit on learners’ speaking abilities and plurilingual competence using a bottom-up approach.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, PluriDigit has supported language teachers in effectively using VoiceThread, an online platform, to engage with learners in virtual classrooms. Additionally, the project has empowered adult language learners to become confident plurilingual users.
